The Danger of Feeling You Deserve Better

Hey friends,

We are at our best when we mirror the feelings of others.

Sometimes, we can feel compelled (because we feel abandoned) to overreact in a situation and lose our sense of self-control. We can feel as though we ‘deserve better’ and do or say something irrational.

This is inevitably unhealthy.

If someone is ignoring you, you must be as patient as you can with them, allowing their feelings and not contending with them.

When we take matters into our own hands, rather than trusting in God and trusting in the process, we risk damaging the natural equilibrium of a relationship. Ups and downs are a natural part of a relationship, so being open to their ebb and flow is essential.

If you’ve been hurt in a relationship, it’s okay. It’s time to forgive and forget. Love, health, healing, and wholeness await.

God bless,

Steven
