How to view your files
EPUB:
On an eReader Device
Send to Kindle: You can transfer EPUB files to your Kindle device at https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle
Other eReaders: You can also transfer EPUB files to eReaders such as Kobo or Nook to read them on those devices.
On a Computer (Windows & Mac)
- Download an EPUB reader: Get software like Adobe Digital Editions or the eBook management tool Calibre.
- Open the reader: Launch the application you installed.
- Add the EPUB file: Navigate to your saved EPUB file and open it within the software.
On a Mobile Device (Android & iOS)
Android: Install the Google Play Books app from the Google Play Store. Open your files, find the EPUB, and use the “Open with” option to select Google Play Books.
iOS (iPhone/iPad): Use the built-in Apple Books app to view EPUB files.
Using Your Web Browser
Install an extension: For browsers like Firefox, you can install the EPUBReader extension to view files directly within your browser.
PDF:
On a PC or a Mac
- Find the PDF file: Locate the PDF file on your computer.
- Double-click to open: Double-click the file to open it with your default PDF viewer, which might be a web browser or a dedicated PDF program.
- Use “Open With” (if needed):
– Right-click the PDF file.
– Select “Open With” from the context menu.
– Choose a preferred application like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Adobe Acrobat. - Open in a browser: You can also drag the PDF file onto an open web browser’s icon or window to view it directly in the browser.
On a Mobile Device (Android or iPhone)
- Find the file: Open your device’s file manager app (e.g., “Files” or “My Files”) to locate the downloaded PDF.
- Tap to open: Tap the PDF file to open it.
- Choose an app: If you have multiple apps that can read PDFs, you may be prompted to choose one, such as Adobe Acrobat or Google Drive.
