Hello brothers and sisters,
I thought I would explain a little about what prompted me to want to write a book about divine justice. I would not want to write any book as a vanity project, but only one that would prove useful to readers (and to myself).
There are many subjects related to divine justice that seem very important yet can be difficult to understand. Some of the questions that have arisen for me in relation to this subject are as follows:
How does divine justice relate to the justice systems of Earth?
Do different religions agree about matters of divine justice, and if not, what are the differences?
How are we to make sense of the severity of the punishment that is described in sacred Scripture if God is loving and merciful?
In Christianity, how should the Book of Revelation be interpreted?
How does the subject of divine justice relate to the subject of free will?
Does God truly get angry?
All of these questions have been on my mind in recent years, and writing a book that addresses these questions (and others) is a way of helping me to perhaps find answers to them.
Prayer for guidance is at the heart of the project, and I hope you will join me in praying that I would write a book that is useful.
In the coming days, I will be sharing some of your contributions expressing what divine justice means to you.

One other question that I’ve been seeking in my heart, through the reading of Psalms and the Pentateuch: How does God as Judge relate to human judges? How can he be both righteous and merciful at the same time?

Hey Virginia, good question and thanks for asking. For this project I think I’m going to stick with monotheism, otherwise the scope would be too broad. I’ll need to clarify that in my introduction.
