As We Move into the Weekend…

Hi everyone,

In my Bible reading today I read about Solomon taking vengeance on his father David’s enemies in the Old Testament, and the apostles being set free from prison after being visited by an angel in the New Testament.

There was a stark warning in my reading from Proverbs:

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

This verse made me think about the promise of everlasting life that Jesus offers, and how the wages of sin is death.

Friday, for me, is a day when I undertake a variety of activities that are ‘miscellaneous’ in my work schedule. The sun is shining here in London, it’s a warm day, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the day unfolds.

God bless

Steven
