Greater Clarity

Friends,

Following my ‘poem’ yesterday, in which I expressed confusion over my time in intensive care, I have been spending time with the Lord. I feel much more at peace and clear about everything.

In my Bible reading today: In the Old Testament, I read King David’s last words, and in the New Testament, I read a prophecy from Joel about God pouring out His Spirit on all flesh in the last days.

I was particularly stuck by this teaching from Proverbs:

Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,
Than to divide the spoil with the proud.

He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.

You are all in my prayers this week.

Be blessed,

Steven
