Love Shower

The first thing to make clear

Is that I am not angry

This is sadness.

I am hurting.

I severed the nerves in my arm

And it pains me.

God is so compassionate

So merciful

So wise

He is going to heal me.

Overwhelmed.

I do not deserve such love.

God, just shower your love on everyone.

I know there is religion

And warnings of Judgement Day

And justice.

But seriously, Lord.

No hard feelings.

Just shower your love on everyone.

I cannot bear

That any creature

Would not know your lovingkindness.

You do not need to punish anyone!

Show mercy to every creature, Lord.

Something tells me

You are not a monster.

Shower your love on everyone right now

And be done with it.
